Very good for the price.

I used an external SSD to test the transfer speed. They were within 10MB/s speed when the SSD was plugged directly into the laptop's USB 3.0 SS port. Not sure, but I think they were between 380MB/s and 410MB/s. After several weeks of almost daily use, I had no problems with it. The included USB cable is flat, making it difficult to route. It was short for my needs. Also, the cord of the external power supply is not very long (3 feet). It didn't go from the floor outlet to the hub when it was on my desktop. Comes with a plastic box to store everything inside.
