Perfect for gifts! Affordable, you could say, not cheap) lol. I've always loved the felt board concept and the LED lighting makes the board look great! However, I think there may be an issue with the wiring of the LED lights as it turns on and off from time to time. (And no, it's not a battery issue - I double-checked) I don't use the lights sometimes. But it really doesn't make sense since the product needs to be fully functional. I would consider a bright color changing system for the next felt board I buy.
