I was skeptical about buying this product based on the reviews in the middle. People either loved it or thought it was a piece of junk. I was expecting $20 if I use it and it doesn't work I'll just send it back. The housing is easy to assemble, snaps firmly into place and comes with specific leak test instructions. They even offer you extra foam wedges to wrap around the camera to keep it as close to the body as possible. I used this case (and foam bumpers) for my powerful cannon shot and I have to say we took some GREAT photos both underwater and above the water. There were never any leaks, the inside of the case didn't fog up and the plastic stayed clean so you never had to worry about your camera focusing on smudges. Tip: Avoid putting sunscreen on the plastic that goes over the lens. The only problem I had was that after taking pictures underwater or getting the case wet, water droplets remained on the plastic. Instead of my camera focusing on the background, it focused on the water droplets on the plastic in front of the lens. It only took a few minutes to dissolve and then the photos were beautiful again. I blamed it on my waterproof sunscreen that had accidentally spilled on that part of the case. In trying to avoid this in the future I haven't encountered this problem again.
