Review on πŸ›οΈ Sleepsack Swaddle - The Perfect Adjustable Wearable Blanket for Kids at Home by Jessica Ness

Excellent in theory, not in practice.

I wanted to like them. I bought 2 of these for my son and had high hopes for the packaging. They were beautiful diapers and I thought they were perfect. I was wrong. The material is very soft, but I'd say it's almost *too* stretchy. Another major issue I had with both diapers (I bought the teal plus the navy and the orange) was the edge stitching getting tangled in the velcro and the stitching ripped. This happened the first night I used it on both diapers. When I'm paying close to $30 apiece for something like this, I want the construction to be strong enough to withstand normal use. The velcro is also incredibly strong, which likely contributed to the torn seams. I understand it needs to be secure so it stays closed when your wobbly newborn sleeps, but I wouldn't have to almost use my baby's hands to undo the diaper. It's really convenient to use, but that might have to do with the amount of lint that accumulates in the zipper when it's attached to various things. If Halo solves the material issues, that would be great. They seem to have done a good job of helping my son regulate his temperature and he was comfortable in them. Until then, save yourself the hassle and use the classic halo or fleece diapers. I have both and I love them.
