Bought 5 packs. Notebook 1 (Acer): No change, the device still uses the internal microphone but the microphone unit disables the speakers so I can't block the microphone without losing the ability to watch a movie or use YouTube etc. Notebook 2 (HP) : Mic block works but completely kills the laptop's recording function. As soon as you plug it in, the laptop will stop recording with a write error message. Although they look beautiful. I'm not saying they won't work for everyone, it's entirely possible with some windows setups, and depending on drivers etc on your laptop it's possible they will work just fine. Update February 4th, 2019 - The owner of the company, Rick, reached out to me to work with me on the issues I was having and offered some great alternative suggestions that look like they might help. This is great personalized customer service. Based on this I have changed my rating to 5 stars. Customer experience is important and they really helped me. Thank you Rick!
