I bought this to try and reduce the sound of my pup's claws on the plastic at the bottom of his cage when he is comfortable. This box bed is less plush below than the pictures show. My pup immediately started chewing on it (like everything else) and unlike the small bed I bought him earlier, the fleece/cotton started to scatter immediately. He finds it comfortable enough, but I've stopped him from chewing on it like one of his other toys, hopefully to help him get through the rest of the year. I guess I should have spent the extra money on a softer bed but I was hoping it would have a slightly better design. . . So!
