The hard plastic roller makes it cheap and ineffective
If you've never tried a silicone roller, I could see some people will like it, but the roller is hard plastic! My old one broke with a rubber or silicone roller (bought in the Asian market) and works great now. The hard plastic just didn't roll properly and it hurt.
