I have used these to replace very bad LEDs in some very expensive low voltage outdoor lighting units. They had built-in steady state LEDs that went out after 2 years of use. The long pins on these connectors allowed me to rip out the flimsy original LEDs and epoxy in the connector. Now I turn on the lamp I want and the $90 per light comes back and is bright for about $2 each. If a lamp fails, I simply put in a new one. They are very light and thin, just what I needed. I wouldn't use them for lightbulbs.
