Review on ACEVOG Women's Packable Rain Jacket: Waterproof Windbreaker for Lightweight Outdoor Protection by Benjamin Robinson

No raincoat! for jackets and coats

Don't call a coat a raincoat if it can't be worn in the rain. If you wear this "raincoat" in a typical Florida downpour, you'll be disappointed if you get completely soaked! The purpose of a raincoat in the rain is so you don't get wet under your raincoat. This coat can withstand only light fog and a few menacing raindrops, but not real torrential downpour. It is very thin and almost no windbreaker. It's lightweight and breathable. It was pleasant during my evening walk with the dog, but luckily it didn't rain! I love the colour, the cut and the style. I just want it to be a true waterproof raincoat. It's barely waterproof. It comes with a small bag so you can fold it up for travel, but you'd better take a compact umbrella with you. Unfortunately, the pocket openings are located at the top rather than the side of the pocket. The pockets have flaps so nothing falls out. It has drawstrings, elastic cuffs and a hood. Lightning seems cheap but works well. The length is a little long but the sleeves are a regular length. I need a raincoat when walking my dog because the umbrella is too heavy to carry. I can't wear this coat in the rain because I get too wet. I can only recommend it if you are looking for a really light, hardly rainproof wind jacket. It was difficult to get the color closer to the picture of the jacket on the hanger. It's pretty pink. I'm 5ft 5in, 120lbs and wear small. For $29.99 I can find an actual raincoat to wear in a hurricane.
