So when I got this the box looked perfectly intact. I opened it up like everything was fine and then started collecting. The first thing that struck me is that the instructions mention that each part is checked before assembly to make sure the factory or other location put everything in the box. Something strange. You would think they would stop this process. I checked and lo and behold, the plastic covering the hydraulics was splintered and one of the brackets holding the backrest was bent as if the box had been crushed at some point. The instructions said I could contact the company and go through a bunch of crap to get another BUT I decided to just leave it at that to avoid getting in trouble. I also bent the connector mount or whatever you want to call it and was able to assemble it after about an hour of frustration and swearing. Maybe I got a crazy box because I see a lot of good reviews. I will say that the chair itself, now that all that is settled, is great. Definitely worth buying, especially for the price. Decent quality and support. I haven't had it that long so we'll see how it holds up, but overall I'm happy with it. I just wanted to share my personal experience with a potential buyer.
