I bought this mainly to combat beard dandruff. My beard just tends to, and the "use dandruff shampoo" advice was utterly useless to me. Tried with and without conditioner. Never really helped. That. I've been using it 2-3 times a week for the past two weeks and it's drastically improved my whole beard dandruff problem. It has a very mild scent that I would describe as "pleasant" for lack of a better description. And a small part makes a big difference; I use half that amount compared to regular shampoos and it lathers well. It also softens my beard a bit. We're not talking "sandpaper that made fluffy kittens softer," but it went from moderately scratchy to not moderately scratchy. It may continue to soften with long-term use; Who knows.
