*UPDATE* I've been dandruff free for 2 years now! I bought this product in October 2017 and have been using it ever since. I have very long and thick hair and struggled with a flaky, itchy scalp for about 20 years before I discovered this cream. My illness developed as a teenager, I am now 34 years old. I wash my hair twice a week (if you have long hair, don't wash it more than once every 3 days or you'll strip it of the beneficial oils it needs to grow and stay healthy). I use it every time I style my hair, it's part of my routine and not only has the dandruff and itchiness gone but I can't stress enough how little product you have to use. After 2 years of use I've barely used 1/3 of the 1st can, maybe even less **TIP** - Apply the product to wet/wet hair. I use my towel to gently wipe excess water out of my hair, just enough to keep it from dripping. If your roots seem to be partially dry, you've waited too long, I need to moisturize them - use your fingertips and massage into the areas, using very little product and trying to get as close to the roots as possible stay. Hope that helps! Original Review: I have to say I'm really impressed with this product! I've used pretty much everything over the counter and nothing has worked. I was very skeptical but decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did! It really is a game changer! After the first application I had no peeling or itching whatsoever! I couldn't believe it! I always thought it was too good to last and the scrub would come back in a day or two, BUT NO! 3 days after washing the hair, there was no peeling or itching. Wonderful! I've been using it for 3 weeks now with no problems! My only complaint is that the instructions are very vague. I have found that the best way to apply this is when your hair is damp. Never apply when your hair is already dry! You only need a little product - apply directly to the roots or as close as possible, I apply to my fingertips and just massage in. You have used too much product. To be honest you don't need much. I have very long thick hair and it doesn't make my hair greasy or weigh it down. Last time I used a little more and the difference was that I felt like the product was on my hair but it's still not greasy and definitely not noticeable to others even after a few days. I find the smell pleasant and unobtrusive, I hardly notice it. Kind of reminds me of Nivea hand cream :-) A can is enough for me for a year, so the price is unbeatable. I really encourage you to try! If only I had discovered this many years ago! I'm not saying this will work for everyone, but it has 100% worked for me and it's definitely worth a try!
