I'm careful about what I feed my cat, but I'm not always sure if what's advertised is what she's actually getting or if it's really good for her. Not a reassuring thought considering I spend a small fortune on quality wet food. That's why I got interested in the raw food diet and discovered this freeze-dried supplement. I wasn't thrilled given the value for money. While I like the product, I can't imagine it will last very long, but I gave it a try anyway. Used as a granular fill, the product failed immediately. My Bella didn't care. So I decided to mix a small portion into her wet food. I mixed 5 crushed boosters with warm water and added 1/2 teaspoon of wet food. Add more water until it becomes a paste. The mixture created a scent that Bella smelled at the same time as I did. When I turn away from the kitchen table, she jumps on her hind legs and meows. Put a bowl in front of her. (This happens every time without exception.) So that's her 2-3x wet food meal plus 1/2 cup of roughage and fresh water. It's not uncommon for Bella to lead me into the kitchen for "seconds" of her fortified wet food. Quite unexpectedly, however, cat food keeps longer than expected. Canned cat food will usually last a day or two. The addition of boosters extends a can of wet food to a week. I bought my first booster pack (chicken) a month ago. The bag is not empty yet. That's not all. Bella's tray is noticeably cleaner. She visits less often, the stench is almost gone, and her solid excretions are consistently solid. And she got a little more sociable. which I usually buy, but I can't deny that my cat LOVES his booster wet food. So much so that I decided to try the bunny boosters as well. She likes it too. I think that should be enough.
