Black is very good, but silver (aluminum) tends to unexpectedly lose its rubber tip. I scratched the protective film built into the housing several times. I try to only use black ones or use silver ones very carefully. If they only sold the black plastic version in a 40 pack I would buy them in a heartbeat, not this one again. Half the order is worse than useless and ruining the phone's screen protector.
