I wasn't sure - after reading the reviews I was afraid it would be too small. Well it fits perfectly (I'm usually 16, I ordered XL) and the design is really flattering! The print with the color blocking around the lower waist really helps create the illusion of a trimmer center part (it hides my mom) and the stitching gives an hourglass shape, all with just smoke and mirrors LOL! The front zip rashguard design is a new look for me, at 46 I really didn't want to hang everything around anymore but I still want to look cute and if I want a little more open neckline the zip gives me the option - even some cleavage allow if I want. All in all it was a big surprise considering I added it to my order at the last minute and got ready for the holiday, now I'm pretty sure this will be the suit I wear every day take to the beach. It's just really sharp, makes me feel confident and beautiful, and keeps me covered without looking like an old lady. The zipper is smooth, don't pull or tug to lift or open it, it's a really great suit. If he lasts on holiday it will be a wonder suit, and even at this price point! Don't be put off by these reviews they almost scared me. This suit fits exactly as it should. Maybe it's a little less than what I usually think of as 16, but it's good, it helps keep things in place without feeling like I'm wearing a sausage casing ha! I can't wait to get to the beach and finally stop feeling like a potato. :)
