These leggings are very soft and while not thick, there is no problem with being sheer. No see through, even across the bum. The legs are long enough and don't wrinkle or bunch at the knees or creep up at the ankles. Perfect length for flats, sandals, tennis shoes. I am 5'8" and an XL and bought the larger size, however, I am CONSTANTLY tugging on them. They are short in the rise. They sit below the natural waist and after sitting, I have to pull them up, especially in the back! Also, the waist band rolls down after a few hours of wear. I have other leggings that fit much better, so have put these in the "lounge wear " drawer so I only wear them around the house where I don't feel self conscious for constantly tugging them back up.
