The best of the best in power tools

I spend a lot of time reading Reviews Looking for a new drill to replace my 15 year old handyman who finally got used to a lithium ion battery. I thought about just buying a new battery, but some things I didn't like were the weight and size of the drill. After reading a number of reviews I settled on the Dewalt 791 and 796 products. There is a lot of misinformation out there so I'll try to clarify a few things. Bullet Rattle: There was some looseness in the 791 cartridge I received, but it didn't seem to affect performance. However, the cartridge moved more in the Model 791 than in the Model 796. The Model 796 cartridge was strong and had no horizontal movement. The weight. As you can see from the pictures, the difference in weight between the 791 and 796 is minimal (about 1.3 ounces). ).Length: The overall length difference between the 791 and 796 is about 9/16 according to my measurements. Some online measurements show a 1.5 inch difference between them. It's not like this. This package contains two things not found in 791 (and its corresponding package). The 4 Ah battery delivers twice as much energy as a conventional 2 Ah battery. In addition, the charger with this kit charges batteries twice as fast as the one supplied with the 791. Overall this is probably the best kit you can buy if you are a professional or intermediate DIYer.
