It's adorable and cute enough that I want to wear it as a mom. I would! It can be dressed up or down for both teens and adults. It's not like the necklaces they got when they were younger that said "best friends"; This is more of an older girl version and looks very classy. The extra slits on the back of the necklace make it pretty, so when wearing t-shirts or crew neck dresses, it is longer or shorter for other clothes. Very nice!
