Love this travel mug. I was concerned it wouldn't warm things up and prevent spills because it's not as expensive as some of the other options. It's fine for my purposes though - I bring coffee to work and it keeps it hot for at least 3-4 hours. I haven't tested for more than 3-4 hours, but I personally don't need anything that lasts longer. I keep the lid closed when not drinking from it and it tends to lose heat faster if the damper covering the drinking area is left open. Leaving it open for an hour while drinking still works well, but I wouldn't leave it open for long. I love that I can toss it in my purse (right side up) and haven't had any leaks even when it fell on its side a bit. I didn't leave it upside down in my purse, so I didn't check its outer limits here either. The fact that it can be washed in the dishwasher makes it lightweight. I also like the size (although I bought a larger size for a change). I find the mug less bulky than the regular 16-ounce models and I'm okay with the fact that it only holds a medium-sized cup of coffee. Highly recommended!
