They are great for baby sheets. It's a soft cotton jersey, not as dense as rigid, textured cotton, but I wanted comfort. I haven't found any "fat" cheat sheets for more than $50 yet, they work great. The pillowcase is a fake back cover which makes it safer and more difficult for my little one. The bottom of the flat sheet has an elastic band that keeps the sheet perfectly in place. The width of the top sheet is comfortable to wear and does not obstruct the bed too much. The bottom sheet is somewhat structured in that it has a seam along the top perimeter of the mattress. Good stretch and plenty of fabric on the bottom of the mattress to keep the bottom sheet from falling off. No complaints, very functional for the baby.
