Excellent protection from wind and rain
I took them on a trip to Iceland and they were priceless. They were easy to slip on and off over my boots (they have a wide toe opening that secures with straps) and did a great job of keeping out the wind and side rain. They were warm without being suffocating. I tried them on separately first and they fit, but the elastic waistband made them comfortable to wear over the other three layers.
