The shoes look good but they are slightly larger than my son's other 4.5 shoes so he can't wear them. Of course, this is a known problem with shoes and online shopping. It's hard to tell what size the shoe will be compared to other manufacturers (like Adidas, Nike and Hush Puppy). and returning the shoes costs more or less compared to the product - it's hard to justify. I will keep them and he will grow into them in the near future. In the meantime, he may be able to squeeze a little extra life out of a pair of slightly tattered old shoes (and/or wear sneakers while the fall dress code is still in effect). Just note that I would call them "half a size bigger" than the rest of his shoes.
