This is an excellent blanket for the money. It feels soft and cool. It doesn't sweat at all, which is a big plus for us. The textured side is nice, the other side is flat, no texture. One thing I noticed is that the unstructured bottom rolls off when I rub my feet on it I think. This is just the foot of the ceiling. and I've only had it for a few weeks/months. Besides, it's good. Edit: I changed the stars to 2. This thing is crazy in the short time we've had it. I would say no longer than 2 months. The whole bottom is covered in pills and when my feet touch it I hate it! When I'm not wearing socks, I sleep with my feet out from under the covers. a terrible thought, but you shouldn't feel the pills! Note: We don't use the top sheet as my husband drops it on the bottom of the bed every night. very annoying. I've been trying to get it to work for years so we just don't use it anymore. Maybe pilling wouldn't have happened if we had used it, but I don't know. I am ordering another blanket, the same as mine, more linen-cotton type. It wasn't worth it as I'll just donate it now or something, waste of money for us.
