I used this cable to install three outdoor cameras. I was able to successfully crimp the ends on all three sections of the cable on the first try. This is the first time. The cable is slightly thicker than standard indoor cable, but easy to work with. Tip: Use a garden weed cutter or similar tool to bury the wire. Simply step into the lawn, rock back and forth to open a gap, move a few inches, and repeat the process until you get a good groove in the topsoil. Plug in the cord, reattach the lawn or soil, and impress your neighbors with your seemingly immaculate lawn. Here is a link to the Revain tool I use.
