I have worked with ripstop nylon, silnylon and silpoly for various do-it-yourself camping projects. Anyone who has felt these materials knows how terribly slippery they are. I tried many Pinterest tips and tricks to get a decent double edge and none of them worked for me and my beginner skills. Then I found these legs and they changed everything! It's much easier to control the tissue when enough of it is passing through the helix. My seams have never been this straight because the fabric doesn't get a chance to bend. I just wish I could use them for regular seams (not double pads).
