I recently had the worst shin splints of my life, they got worse and I wore them for about a week and a half, and no signs of improvement. I play a lot of games/tournaments in the summer softball league and there was a big tournament coming up so I did some research and decided to pull the trigger and give it a try. And all I can say is wow! Did it heal a cleft tibia? No, but it's not a design. But with compression I played over 12 games in 2 days and didn't have an ounce of shin splints! Remember, I'm telling you, the games I've played for a week have made me run like a newborn giraffe! My shins looked like they were going to break with every step I took and I actually took myself out of the game because of them. So, having them for the tournament and expecting pain and just playing a few games, playing the whole tournament, my shins haven't given me a single problem?!? So yes, the investment is worth it! And I will buy a few more sets as spares! hp Had a game tonight, decided NOT to wear them and see if the cleft shins went away or the sleeves helped as much as I thought? Spring. YOU DID IT! I played 3 innings and my shin split so bad I was out of the game AGAIN. So this has been tried and tested personally and I would say make an investment!
