I purposely waited a bit before writing the review to really appreciate how good they are. Aside from a design flaw or two, I really like these headphones. First off, I have a Google Pixel XL as my phone. When I first picked them up, the sound was pretty good. They got loud enough to drown out some of the background noise, but not completely. The bass is not loud but noticeable. Using different sets of silicone tips that are color coded so you can tell which pairs, I've found a set that works great for my ears. The base of the earbuds is made from stainless steel so it seems like they can take some wear and tear. The battery claims a battery life of 10 hours. All I know is that they last a while and I charge them every few days between work and errands. Plus, with fast charging, it doesn't take long for them to fully recharge their batteries. Even if they are empty, it won't last long. And if you just set them to charge while you sleep, that's a lot to worry about. Now for the two things I didn't like. First, the cords on each side that go to the headphones are slightly longer. If they ever make a second version of these headphones they should be trimmed, depending on the position of your face the cables may be sticking out in front of your peripherals. I'm not sure if that bothers a lot of people, but I personally don't like it. The second is the back bar, which rests on your neck. I'm sure it's meant to house the battery and extra audio components, but grouping them that way could easily make you slip off your neck when you say look at something really high in the sky or sit back. That's all about the cons. The Bluetooth headphones I had previously were BeatsX and had connectivity and audio quality issues, which makes sense as they were primarily made for the iPhone and use a different audio codec. They feature a standard Bluetooth audio codec, but have also integrated Qualcomm aptX for phones that support this codec for HD audio streaming. It didn't matter as Pixel phones didn't have this codec until Android Oreo (8.0). After updating my phone, the sound in these headphones is amazing! Probably one of the best Bluetooth sets I've ever had/tried. Basic music levels are now much higher and of better quality, with no signal drops. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and will likely consider the V-Moda for my future headphone purchases.
