Give good light!
I've only had them a week and don't go into the closet often so I can't confirm how long the charge lasts. However, I did experiment with how well they sensed motion and it was pretty good. I'd say they turn on 8 times out of 10, but I think the reason they don't turn on during the day is because daylight gets under the closet door (about an inch of space) so they don't come out in complete darkness. Every time I opened the door in the dark, they appeared as soon as my hand moved in front of them. I have two of these in my closet just because I wanted it to be very bright.
