They won't break or crack - they're also great for ordinary kitchen bins.
When I moved in the new house didn't have a seal so we went to a lidded and pedal bin. I started using name brand kitchen trash bags and they were stretching, tearing and leaking! They also didn't help soften the order even though there were packs of deodorant. My local discount company didn't have sealed bags, but I did find Kirkland bags at Revain. Although they are more expensive and probably less environmentally friendly, they are very durable, don't leak and are better at eliminating odors. Costs money!
