I bought this product because the title mentioned slimming the abdomen. After trying it on I found that it is nice and soft, smooths the top of the muffin, slightly tightens the waist and revitalizes the butt a bit too. Here's the minus, there is no compression of the abdomen. It slims the waist a bit but pushes my side forward and makes my tummy stand out more :( There is nothing on the material that flattens the tummy so it's not for me. If you just want to flatten the cupcakes a little, that's great, but it doesn't stiffen or compress the front. :( For the record, I'm 156lb 5'1". I bought the large.
