Review on HAVIT Big Gaming Mouse Pad Large Mouse Pads Extended Desktop Keyboard Mat by Tyrone Carter

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Terrible for competitive gaming, can be used as a primary mouse pad.

So I'll be honest and say I didn't read the reviews before buying. I saw that it had over 1000 reviews with a pretty high rating and knowing how picky we gamers are I figured it would be ok. Well, that's not even close to normal. I gave it two stars because it basically still works like a regular mouse pad, but for any kind of competitive online play it's just awful. First, the rubbery texture on the bottom is actually "printed" all the way to the top, so the top isn't smooth. . The mouse also has serious tracking issues at times, which I think may be partly caused by that weird top texture. The texture I'm talking about isn't the typical rough embossed texture that some mouse pads have that actually work great, it's big ovals in a rubber bottom shape because the top is so thin it doesn't completely cover that texture. . The logo printed on the mouse pad is a typical screen printed logo so it feels plasticky and thick - not great if you plan on hovering over that corner of the pad - if it were of good quality it would be in the cloth to be sublimated. So you can't "feel" the logo. The bottom of the handle seems to do its job quite well, so there's not much to complain about. If you just need a large, comfortable mouse pad for an office or light gaming environment, it will work just fine. If you plan to play something competitive, then look for something different. If it was more expensive I would return it but after writing this review I will look for a replacement mouse pad and not risk these mysterious brands. This is a VERY cheap product that pays very little attention to its intended purpose. It's just a rubber grip with a poor quality piece of cloth attached to it. This product was never designed as a mouse pad, it's just cheap imported anti-slip material with a cheap thin cloth and a crappy logo which they then sold as a mouse pad.
