I'm pleasantly surprised by this flashlight

This flashlight is so simple and so cool. Really light and very small. I can even keep it in my pocket. The glass appears to be quite strong despite being glass. So if you're not careful, it will shatter like every normal glass ever made. Hopefully the people complaining about glass will think about it. It's not Pyrex and it's not safety glass, so it will break. While I think they should have made it out of Pyrex I have no idea why they didn't as it is superior to regular glass in every way. Whatever happens, as long as you don't drop it on solid ground or whatever, it'll be fine. It has a pleasantly subdued light, perfect if your eyes are used to the dark. I haven't tested it in my tent as a heat source yet, as I'm a bit worried that the heat from above will melt my tent. I've seen videos of people doing this and leaving it on all night and it looks safe enough. Just make sure the tent is well ventilated so you don't suffocate while sleeping. It produces carbon dioxide (not carbon monoxide, which people seem to confuse it with), and you also release carbon dioxide when you breathe, making it a minor hazard if you've covered all tent openings. However, with only 1900 BTUs of heat, you can't expect it to do it all in a big tent. In a well ventilated tent of about 40 square feet and 4 feet high (standard two man tent) you would need about 3400 Btu of heat to get the temperature up to 70 degrees and to keep it there. However, this little lantern makes a big difference, producing over half the BTUs you need to heat your tent. Anyway, the awesome lantern used it in my room at night for reading, although I burned myself half a dozen times by accidentally touching the top panel. The candle lantern still takes some getting used to.
