I work in a private stable and it is very damp and cold at this time of year. These gloves were amazing. I can put on and take off halters with gloves, which is usually more difficult with other gloves. Water does not penetrate, but if the gloves are wet enough on the outside, your hands will feel cold. But they are still much better than other gloves. They have done a great job with the jobs I do in the barn. The only downside is that hay tends to stick to the fabric near the wrists of gloves. But these still prevail.
