This mat works better than I expected. It has an "automatic" mode that cycles through different vibration types, or you can choose your favorite and stick with it. I love that the plush cover can be removed and washed. Mine was inside out in the comforter meaning the pillow was at my feet. This is easy to fix but at first I was confused as to why all the vibration zones were wrong. The reason I gave it a star is because the foam releases VOCs, so I left mine on my porch for a few weeks to air out. . Since it will be used by the bedside anyway, I would prefer a non-foam or non-latex device to avoid this problem.
