I have previously bought 5 antennas, 3 flat indoor antennas, 1 rabbit ear RCA and an outdoor roof RCA. I bought it to put outside as it was listed as an outside antenna and I couldn't install an outside antenna due to the rules of where I live. I installed it next to my outdoor wiring box, it sits about 5 feet off the ground on top of a metal junction box. It has a nice magnet at the bottom of the antenna base. I connected it to my old cable box. Wow what a great little antenna. Sturdy construction works great. I have 3 TVs hooked up to an existing cable that runs through my house. Don't pay too much for the same or similar antennas. I think I paid 8.99 for it. Good product.
