Review on Premium Thread Count Cotton Sheets by Kelly Burton

I bought them and the Canningvale Australia 1000 TC at the same time and I love them both. The Threadmill 800 TC Satin Cotton is only slightly lighter (for me), which is good because I love thick sheets. But if you read my Canningvale review where I called them "smooth" I would say they are definitely "soft" in comparison. Obviously, this is where the "satin" or satin weave of the fabric comes into play. I haven't washed them yet, so I can't comment on that. But I slept on them. "What? Without washing them first?!" could you exclaim? It was bedtime and a pet was involved, so leave that to your imagination. Anyway, I took these sheets off and put them on straight out of the box and they were still great, my husband and I slept well. As for the fit - a very roomy leaf. I may have to join the orthopedic mattress crowd if I want them to fit tighter - regular 15 inch sheets are hard to find these days. An extra two inches on the sides really evens out the score if you're sleeping with someone who tends to compress the sheets. And if that's not enough - you can't beat the price on a stick of this kind of quality.
