This should also produce ozone but it doesn't. This is a UV lamp only, and the lamp has a timer function. The light does not turn on immediately, there is a delay to give you enough time to leave the room so you don't have to look at the light. Then it turns itself off. I chose this particular lamp because of the ozone advertised here. Mine doesn't produce ozone so it's possible I've expired or the list is wrong. Ozone is a strong bleaching odor that cannot be ignored. At least it's ultraviolet and light has a long journey, so it's not all for nothing. I would be VERY careful using this as that particular bulb gets hot and so does the bulb. Don't leave the house with it, just leave the room so you don't burn your eyes or skin.
