Needed a running shoe different from regular running shoes and basic canvas shoes. They caught my attention and I decided to try them. So glad I did! I usually wear a size 9 or 9 1/2 so I ordered 10 just in case knowing I can send them back if they are too big. They actually seem to be true to size because I'm about 1/2 the width of my thumb in front of my big toe when standing in them. It will definitely give me some space when my feet are a little swollen from the summer heat or from standing for a long time. They have good cushioning and little arch support. Not intended for running but very comfortable for everyday use. I have narrow feet so can't speak to the width of the sock but I have plenty of room. Comfortable room. Sure, but my feet don't swim in it. Can't comment on durability as I just received them but they seem to be of good quality. Only wear them to go shopping or whatever, not to mow the lawn. They should last a long time! I'm glad I bought them!
