I got these TomboyX Swim 7" Inseam Board Shorts for the beach. I love the little corset-like front drawstring closure. The waistband is adjustable, which is nice so you don't have to worry about this not fitting with weight fluctuation. The drawstrings are a bit long, but I love that they have rubbery endpoints. I got a size XL and it fits pretty well. For reference, I'm 5' 5" and 191 pounds. It has two large pockets on the front sides to hold keys, a cell phone, or even some seashells (just make sure to remove that phone before getting close to the water!). I love the colored back pocket as well. The inside lining is comfortable, but not sure if I personally would wear it without a bikini bottom underneath. I'm used to a thicker lining to protect against excess moisture showing through, but these pants claim to be moisture-wicking and odor-resistant. I look forward to wearing these at the beach with my family.
