I like how easy it was to set up my own instance of ptero that works as intended by me/my team. It makes sense for any type of application or service where you want some sort of centralized control (even if not managed through an interface). The ease of use means we can get things done quicker than otherwise would be possible without this tool. There are many different ways one could improve upon what's here already but they've thought about those too so there should be little problem finding workarounds when needed. We're solving problems related to controlling our infrastructure - including web applications and services running within them.
