I ordered three of these stools to help complete my kitchen remodel. I had shopped for stools in several brick-and-mortar stores and was appalled by the high prices. The price is certain right for these. They were very tedious to put together--you would be helped by having a allen wrench attachment on a small power screwdriver. Be careful that you are using the correct size bolt in the indicated holes. The color is kind of an ashy brown--I wouldn't call it gray--the picture is pretty accurate regarding color. The stools get a B- on comfort but they are sturdy and the materials seem to be of lasting quality. I put water/stain resistant spray on the cloth upholstery. Happy with the purchase.not happy with my sore hands after putting them together!
