Review on πŸ§” Organic Medium Hold Badger Mustache Wax - Facial Hair Styling Wax, Natural Moustache Wax, 0.75 oz by Doug Destruction

Revainrating 5 out of 5

More of a balm than a wax but good for what it is.

Originally posted on handlebarclubforum dot org. Overall, I like this wax for everyday use to add direction to my mustache and tame the wild hair, but the hold isn't strong enough to allow for any style other than my natural curl. It smells nice, is easy to apply and disappears completely. Reviewer Climate: US Great Plains, currently about 80 degrees Fahrenheit, 50+% humidity. Reviewer's Mustache Style: Hungarian, sometimes with curls at the tips. I usually don't use anything other than lanolin a few times a day unless I need to curl my ends. Right now my swing is just over 6 inches so it doesn't need much fixing unless I decide to curl the ends. Consistency and Hardness: Soft consistency, slightly oily/greasy at room temperature Very easy to scratch on the nail and turns into a smear almost instantly when rubbed between fingers No external heat required to apply or apply Easy to comb .Application and Visibility: After smearing between fingers makes it easy to apply to mustache. I find they are quite soft so I have to be careful getting them off the sides of my fingers as they tend to migrate there when I rub them. fingers together. It completely disappears into my salt and pepper mustache (mainly pepper at the moment). I don't see it being very noticeable on colored hair. Durability: This is a light hold product. The jar says "Medium hold, with maximum power." d Use this wax. On a scale of 0 to 10, where 0 means no product and 10 means Got2B Glued, that's a 2 or 3. I've used Lanolin instead on occasion when I just want a little more control. Longevity is poor, but the pocket-sized jar is so easy to take with you for touch-ups when needed. Easily washes off with soap and water but tends to fade on its own. Additional thoughts and insights: II I suspect this wax might be more helpful in the winter when it's dry and cold. For now, the hold is enough to smooth down a few unruly hairs and give my mustache general direction. I feel like my hair is taking care of my hair ,after use it looks soft and smooth The shape is nicely rounded at the edges, easy to open, fits neatly in a pocket Has a "best before" date on the side Not sure if it can go bad, maybe oils can go rancid? Badger Co. takes great pride in manufacturing all organic products. The smell is sweet, vanilla extract with a hint of herbal/drug odor but not at all unpleasant and dissipates quickly. quickly. Say Badger Co. According to standard practice, castor oil is the main ingredient, which explains the oily/greasy texture along with other oils and shea butter. Standard beeswax with a small amount of carnauba wax.
