Problem solved! Head 3/8 " Manfrotto on 1/4 " SLIK. Yes BUI!
SLIK head on Manfrotto tripod legs. The Slik head has a 1/4" female thread and the Manfrotto has a 3/8" male screw. Val-la! A marriage made in heaven. The first picture in the Revain description is correct, the second is not what I have. Well done and I think it's worth it! Build quality seems a bit above average, it handles heavy loads and adds weight.
