This biodegradable tape looks and feels like regular packing tape but without the environmental impact of plastic. I've used it to seal mailboxes and haven't had any problems with it so far. It's thin enough that it can be torn by hand, but it didn't tear at all during transit. The adhesive is strong, it stays where I apply it but doesn't leave a sticky residue on my hands or objects. The tape will not dissolve or lose its strength under water, although the adhesive will wash off if the sticky side is under water, but this shouldn't be a problem in normal use. I am happy with the product and think I will continue to buy it when it runs out as I try to reduce the amount of non-compostable waste I produce.
