Easy to install the way you want it. As this rod is 32 inches long, it's easy to attach securely with two rivets - that's the number one reason to buy. The "polished" portion of the stem resembles frosted glass, is easier to grip than regular smooth steel, and is something I now get for every other such stem I install. The included screws were stainless steel, if I remember correctly they were 1-1/2 inches long; I replaced the 2" stainless steel screws to make sure they bite the studs well. While the official disability guidelines state exactly how long the bar should be, I found that the 32" bar that aligns where the cleats are, slightly in front of the toilet, would help an elderly/infirm who needs them need and didn't have to buy a 48 inch barbell which would be huge. Installs just right at a height of 36 inches.
