Review on Lifetime 60298 Outdoor Storage Gallon by Patrick Burns

I've waited over a year to write this review as I wanted to get through summer (2015), winter (2015) and another summer (2016) to see See how this box has withstood the elements here in North Carolina (Raleigh area). This box is very large, extremely easy to assemble, has nice smooth opening and closing hinges, and the lid stays open when you need it, closes tightly and is completely watertight. As others have pointed out, take the time to ensure you have the correct panels before assembling them as I can see that they can be difficult to take apart if assembled incorrectly, but everything was easily labeled , so just read this. A few reviewers have stated that they used caulk on the inside to seal it, but we didn't and there's never been any water leakage and we get torrential rain when a storm rages. For your information, this box was placed directly on the concrete on the terrace of our pool to prevent moisture from outside getting inside. It hasn't faded (lots of dead sun hitting it all day) and hasn't cracked in the colder months. Nothing smells inside - no musty smell, nothing; and there is no mold or algae around/outside. It was well packaged, delivered safe and sound, all parts are missing. We have a large U-shaped section with a range of seat and back cushions and small square throw pillows. This box contains all 12 of our back cushions (they are smaller than the seat cushions), 4 small square throw cushions, my pool exercise supplies (swimming belt, swim shoes, swim barbells, small swim board), a fly swatter and a few other items. small items. ;-) 10 seat cushions are larger/thicker so we had to separate them for storage in 2 other deck drawers (different style/brand) along with leftover throw cushions. So yes we have 3 deck boxes around our pool lol. After purchasing this through Revain and loving it, I found one at my local store and bought it. The second is on the patio of our house to hold cushions for the patio furniture up there. The quality is the same as the 2nd Lifetime box ordered through Revain. I highly recommend this brand and model no matter where you buy it.
