Tips to avoid problems. Cradle Lid Solution

Of course I'll talk about my experience with this product but I wanted to share some tips that may help you avoid some of the problems that other reviewers have experienced. (You can use these methods for any other shampoo/body wash you want to try) - Remember that even a good all-natural shampoo or body wash is not for everyone as our skin and hair can be very different from those who are even in our own family. Not working for someone else's child? Might still work for you and vice versa. - Skin sensitivity: Obviously, children's skin is more sensitive than your skin, but some children are more sensitive than others. If so, does your family have a history of allergies or skin reactions, or you're just concerned, check before using it for an entire bath. Take a small amount of soap and wash a very small part of your child's body, rinse thoroughly and wait at least 24 hours. If you have a skin reaction in that area, know this is not the baby shampoo for you. You don't need much: My baby has a lot of newborn hair and I only use about 1/4 of a piece. pump for her hair. Washing her body probably takes a total of one pump, but I do it gradually because sometimes when washing, the washcloth goes under the water and washes off the soap. Using too much can make rinsing difficult, which can irritate the skin, and that's the soap's waistline. - dry skin: it could be shampoo because everyone's skin is different, but consider the possibility of bathing your child too often. Most babies only need a bath once or twice a week at most. If, like me, you enjoy taking a bath as part of your bedtime routine, try bathing in water (no soap) as often as possible and washing your face with soap 1-3 times a week. Apply a good quality baby lotion if needed. You can also rinse them with fresh water instead of bath water to make sure you get all the soap out. If you've been doing this for a few weeks and still have dry skin issues, this soap may not be for you. - Rinse thoroughly: This helps with sensitivity, dry skin, etc. - No tears: This is probably what annoys me the most. So many reviews imply that they applied the soap undiluted to their eyes and then complained that it wasn't tear-free. Anything that shouldn't get in your eye (your tears, saline, contact solution) will burn. Even pure water can sting some. The idea is that this minimizes the discomfort. To avoid problems, do not wash your baby's face with soap. Every article and book for children I've read states that the only way to wash a child's face is with a washcloth dipped in clean water. This is how my baby's first bath was done in the hospital, and this is how my mother (5 children) always did it. Her skin is sensitive, and the skin on her face is even more sensitive. Not only do you run the risk of drying facial skin from removing oils, but you're also likely to get undiluted soap in your eyes and mouth because you don't yet know how to keep them closed. When rinsing her hair, use your hand, a washcloth, one of those bathing caps, or something else that will help protect her eyes. What little soap they can get in their eyes will be diluted with the water you use to rinse them. I did so and the little soap that got in my baby's eyes didn't seem to bother her. - defective pump: I have not had this problem, but you can try to contact the company. I don't know about their customer service but if it's good they will send you a new pump. If this isn't the case but you still want to use soap and want to do it with ease, the next time your hand soap container is empty, rather than throwing it away, give it a good rinse and pour some baby soap in. another brand of all natural soap but my daughter had a lullaby and was getting worse and worse. It wasn't as bad as some of the kids and I didn't think to take before and after photos. I started using this shampoo and it cleared up in almost 2 weeks (washing about twice a week). It wasn't too bad for her so it may take longer for others, but it was still nice to have those flakes gone. I love the smell and haven't had as much of a problem with it drying out my skin as I've had with other soaps I've used. I only used the baby lotion a couple of times while I applied the other soap after each bath. It looks like the bottle should last a while. I've been using it for over a month and haven't even used 1/4 bottle because a little goes a lot with this soap. I also like that they have refill packs which are cheaper than a whole new bottle. There's also less plastic used, and while I'm not worried about things like this going under, I do believe in waste. I plan to use their baby shampoo and body wash when my baby is older. I ran out of shower gel a few weeks ago and took this soap to use instead until I could get more. I liked it so I tried it on my hair too. It has worked well for me and now I am trying their adult shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. So I could see it working for adults with dry, sensitive skin too.
