There is no disclaimer in the description that it doesn't work for a 3/8 inch mic that splits in two 1 4 1/4" TRS inputs, although everything fits perfectly. 3/8" mic has incompatible voltage with 1/4" TRS (e.g. 1/4" TRS or XLR usually includes 48V phantom power). Without proper (3-5v from phone, pc etc) the 3/8 mic will not work. You can then use a 1/4" XLR adapter.
