As several previous reviewers have seen, my desk was fitted with incompatible fixtures. The faucet hose came with a 3/4 inch pipe fitting on the end for the garden hose to connect to. As a result, I had to buy a new hose and adapter to convert pipe threads to garden hose threads. In all the reviews on the same topic, this problem would have been solved at least with the included adapter. The criticism of the design is that the point where this flexible hose connects to the faucet itself is very narrow and difficult to reach. The connection should be larger than by hand, but due to the close proximity of the sculpted side of the sink to the location of the faucet, there is little room for a wrench.
