We were struck by lightning and our answering machine was on fire, I ordered the same in our bathroom, didn't realize it is a system that sends messages to voicemail and the provider that we have voice recording is so fast that we can't figure out what a phone number is and what people are saying. I left a message to speak slowly and include their phone number in the message, but they speed up part of the message so we can't understand anything. We don't have cell phones and rely on an answering machine, too bad they're hiring and using satellite phones, I have essential tremors and can't hold them.
